Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi will embark on a two-day visit to India starting Monday to hold the next round of border talks with National Security Adviser (NSA) Ajit Doval, the Ministry of External Affairs announced on Saturday.
During his stay, Wang is scheduled to participate in the 24th round of the Special Representatives (SRs) meeting on the India-China boundary question. The SRs dialogue mechanism, jointly led by Wang and NSA Doval, serves as the key platform for addressing the longstanding border dispute along the 3,488-km Line of Actual Control (LAC).
